For some homesteaders, the only way to fly is to get completely off the grid. This means no connection whatsoever to the outside world, power grid, water, etc. We have a dream of reaching this status at some point. But just as with homesteading, there are also various levels of going off the grid that can make you more independent. These sites have the tools to help you accomplish whatever level of independence from the grid you wish to. You also never know when disaster will strike…or when the deep state will do something drastic to make life more complicated. We need to be prepared to do without the normal conveniences. This is also something that everyone needs to decide how far they want to go with. We initially started with about a month’s worth of supplies. We have gradually added to that so that now we have about a 6 month supply of most of the critical needs covered. We are still working on power and water as well. When we are finally moved out to a larger piece of land, those will become top priority. What prepping have you done?
